It's a Girl?

This is what Yogi looks like as a girl..........he begged me to let him wear this pretty pink paper bow. BUT kindly asked that I not tell the PaPa , because he just wouldnt understand. Who am I to tell the dog he cant wear pink?

This is why his AKC name is Yellowstone's Yogi "BEAR". He loves it when his MaMa puts peanut butter in his bone................maybe It would be better with honey?

Happy Dog

Finally the weather has broke! It's 40 degrees out, so Yogi and the MaMa went for an early morning walk to reclaim some old stompin' ground. I believe this is the look of complete happiness on Yogi's face.......... or is he sticking his tongue out at Sherman?

7 days

I knew something was up when I came home yesterday and Yogi stole the throw rug in the kitchen and carried it off to the living room. If dogs could talk, my guess would be that he was saying "If you don't take me for a walk soon, something really bad will happen........ Grr." It's true it has been 7 days since he has been on a walk...... so to spare myself from his wrath I took him for a run today(which by the way means I Love You in dog language)...........now, where is my kitchen rug?

Where's PaPa?

This is Yogi's best impression of a cat. He only perches himself on the back of the couch when he is waiting for his PaPa to come home. And since it has been 2 nights now that he has been gone, he is getting desperate. The night before he sat at the end of the driveway at 11:00 p.m. waiting in the cold.

Scootin'

ah...... its the old grab the milk jug and scoot 'round the couch eighty times trick. I was crushing a jug when he came out and stole it right out from under my foot. He has missed his walk 3 times in the past week because the MaMa has been sick. Can I just say that spring cannot come fast enough for a pent up little puppy!

Security Patrol

Part of Yogis daily routine is to do a "sniff" patrol of the yard, this bush passed inspection, whew !and I was so afraid there was something bad behind that bush.....whatever would I do with out his talents?
